Controller

The data controller is the owner of Filshop. You can get in touch about any privacy matter through the contact page.

Data we process

We process the minimum data needed:

• Your email, if you subscribe to deal alerts. It is stored in our Brevo list and you can unsubscribe from any email.
• The messages you write to the Fil assistant, to generate the answer. We do not use them to identify you.
• Browsing data and cookies, only if you accept them (analytics and advertising).
• Searches with no results, anonymously, to decide which products to add.

Purposes and legal basis

Sending you the alerts you request (consent), answering your questions in the assistant (legitimate interest in providing the service), measuring site usage and showing advertising (consent through the cookie banner).

Providers

We use providers that may process data on our behalf: web hosting (Vercel), newsletter delivery (Brevo, which stores your email in its contact list), analytics (Google Analytics), advertising (Google AdSense) and the assistant's AI model (Google Gemini). With Gemini's free plan, Google may use the messages you write to the assistant to improve its services, so you should not include personal data in them. When you click a link to Amazon, Amazon's privacy policy applies.

Retention

We keep your email for as long as you remain subscribed. Assistant messages are not stored in our own database; your conversation is only kept in your browser during the session.

Your rights

You can access, rectify or erase your data, object to its processing and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us from the contact page. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
